Lahore’s Traffic Plan and Local Holiday for Iranian President’s Visit

Lahore’s Traffic Plan for Iranian President’s Visit

To facilitate the smooth and disruption-free visit of Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, Lahore’s local authorities have rolled out a comprehensive traffic plan.

During the President’s stay in Lahore from 6am to 3pm, the Lahore Ring Road will be temporarily closed. Traffic heading towards Lahore will be rerouted from Kala Shah Kaku.

Local Holiday in Lahore

The Punjab government has announced a local holiday in Lahore on April 23, 2024, coinciding with the official visit of the Iranian President. This means that government offices, schools, and educational institutions will be closed on this day within Lahore District.

The holiday is intended to minimize disruptions during the President’s visit and ensure the city’s preparations proceed without hindrance.
