Singer Lana Del Rey has said “I do” to her boyfriend Jeremy Dufresne, a swamp tour guide known for his adventures in the Louisiana bayou. The couple exchanged vows in a picturesque ceremony held on September 26th in the heart of the bayou, the very place where their love story began. Dufresne, captain of Arthur’s Airboat Tours, guides visitors through the swamp, showcasing its unique wildlife, including alligators and white-tailed deer.
According to People magazine, Del Rey walked down the aisle in a classic white dress, adorned with a light blue hair ribbon, while Dufresne looked dapper in a dark suit and brown shoes. The bayou setting was transformed into a magical wedding venue, complete with a white tent, guest tables, and a beautifully decorated boat.
A source close to the couple shared details about the intimate celebration, saying, “The wedding and reception were held in the bayou where Jeremy does his boat tours. It’s a special place for them, where they first met. It was a very beautiful and relaxed, family-focused affair. All about their love story.”
Del Rey’s love for the bayou was evident in a 2019 Facebook post where she shared a photo of herself with Dufresne, captioning it, “Let Jeremy, Captain of Arthur’s Airboat Tours, take you on a ride!” Although there was no immediate romantic spark at the time, their paths crossed again this past August in London, sparking rumors of a relationship.
An insider revealed, “It was a whirlwind romance, but Lana’s close friends were really hoping she’d get married. Jeremy is different from the guys she’s dated in the entertainment world. He’s a really great guy. He’s got that Southern charm and charisma, he’s a gentleman, and he truly cares about her. She’s a traditional woman, so it makes sense.”
