Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Sponsors Las Vegas Aces Players with Groundbreaking Sponsorship

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) has announced a groundbreaking two-year sponsorship for the champion players of the Las Vegas Aces. Each player on the team will receive a yearly sponsorship of $100,000 for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. The LVCVA finalized this sponsorship deal directly with the agents of each player.

Designed to be straightforward, the agreement allows the players to focus on their primary motto, “Just Play. Rep Vegas.” The exciting news was revealed right after the team’s regular practice session.

“These players have put a national spotlight on Las Vegas. There are no better representatives for Las Vegas than these champion athletes,” said Steve Hill, president and CEO of the LVCVA. “A first of its kind sponsorship deal with the players directly creates a win for them and a win for our destination. This partnership builds on the current momentum of sports tourism and the popularity of women’s professional sports.”

As of May 18, 2024, the current active roster includes Kierstan Bell, Emma Cannon, Alysha Clark, Sydney Colson, Dyaisha Fair, Chelsea Gray, Megan Gustafson, Kate Martin, Kelsey Plum, Kiah Stokes, A’ja Wilson, and Jackie Young. The team, a two-time champion, was the first to secure a national title for Las Vegas, famously known as the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World. The announcement was made by Hill.

Additionally, a significant event today saw the presence of two local mayors who are also proud members of the LVCVA Board of Directors. North Las Vegas Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown and Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero celebrated this milestone with fellow board members County Commissioner Michael Naft, Jan Jones-Blackhurst, and Ann Hoff, lauding the championship team on behalf of Las Vegas, the Greatest Arena on Earth.
