Eicher Motors, renowned for its Royal Enfield motorcycles and commercial vehicles, reported a consolidated net profit of 1,070.45 crore for the fourth quarter of Financial Year 2024. This represents an impressive 18.2% growth compared to the same quarter last year, where the profit stood at 905.58 crore. Moreover, the company witnessed a 12% increase in its total revenue, climbing from 3,804 crore in Q4 of 2022-23 to 4,256 crore in the January-March quarter of FY24.

Kejriwal’s PM Claims and Shah’s Response

A day after securing interim bail, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal stirred political discourse by raising the possibility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “retirement” next year. He also speculated that if the BJP triumphed in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Yogi Adityanath could be replaced as Uttar Pradesh chief minister. Union Home Minister Amit Shah swiftly dismissed these claims, asserting that PM Modi would not be replaced.

This marks the third time in IPL 2024 that the franchise has been penalized for maintaining a slow over-rate.
