Laura Ashley Slow Cooker Review: A Stylish & Delicious Way to Cook

## Laura Ashley Slow Cooker Review: A Stylish & Delicious Way to Cook

In a world filled with slow cookers, it’s hard to stand out. But the Laura Ashley 3.5-litre slow cooker has managed to capture my heart (and my kitchen counter space) with its charming design and impressive performance.

I’ve been a slow cooker enthusiast for years, but I’ve always found them to be a bit clunky and not exactly aesthetically pleasing. That’s why I was delighted to discover this beautiful white slow cooker adorned with gorgeous blue flowers. It’s a welcome addition to my kitchen, and its pretty appearance makes me actually want to use it!

The Laura Ashley slow cooker is as easy to use as it is beautiful. It features a simple design with three heat settings and a warm setting. There’s no complicated programming or confusing buttons – just straightforward, intuitive operation. The inner china dish is a breeze to clean, adding to the convenience of this appliance.

I’ve had the pleasure of making several dishes in this slow cooker, from classic BBQ pulled chicken to a surprisingly delicious ‘Marry Me Chicken’ recipe I found on TikTok. The ‘Marry Me Chicken’ recipe, created by Poppy Cooks, was a hit with my family. It’s a simple yet flavourful dish that’s perfect for a busy weeknight.

Here’s the recipe for the ‘Marry Me Chicken’:

Ingredients:

* Three chicken breasts
* Two tablespoons of tomato puree
* 300ml double cream
* Half a garlic bulb, peeled and crushed
* 100g sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained (oil reserved) and chopped
* 100ml dry white wine
* 100g parmesan, grated
* Half a lemon, juiced
* Small handful of flat-leaf parsley, chopped
* Salt and black pepper to season

Method:

1. Add the chicken to the slow cooker along with the tomato puree, double cream, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes with one tablespoon of oil, wine, and parmesan.
2. Mix well, put the lid on, and cook on high for two to three hours or on low for six to seven. My chicken took six hours on the low setting and it was absolutely divine.
3. Once the chicken is cooked and tender, season with the lemon juice and parsley, and serve immediately.

I paired this delicious chicken with garlic parmesan potatoes and carrots, but rice would also be a great accompaniment. The slow cooker is spacious enough to accommodate larger meals like stews, making it a versatile appliance.

Pros:

* Stylish design
* Easy to use
* Versatile cooking capabilities
* Large capacity

Cons:

* The inner bowl is heavy, but this is common with slow cookers to ensure heat retention.

The Laura Ashley slow cooker is a joy to use and a beautiful addition to any kitchen. It’s perfect for busy individuals and families alike, offering a convenient and delicious way to prepare meals. At £81, it’s a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish slow cooker.
