Lauren Sanchez, the fiancée of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has faced public scrutiny since her relationship became public. In an effort to cope with the attention, Sanchez sought advice from former Donald Trump aide Kellyanne Conway.
According to the book ‘The Everything War: Amazon’s Ruthless Quest to Own the World and Remake Corporate Power’ by Wall Street Journal reporter Dana Mattioli, Sanchez asked Conway, ‘You’ve had a lot thrown at you. How do you handle it?’
Conway responded by saying, ‘Please, have you looked in the mirror? People are jealous of you. I would say they’re jealous because you’re dating him [Jeff Bezos].’
In a show of support, Conway offered to join Sanchez on a ‘slow jog around the neighborhood.’ The author of the book noted that this gesture acknowledged Sanchez’s commitment to exercise.
Sanchez has also received support from her fiancé, Bezos, and others after facing criticism from restaurateur Keith McNally on social media. In her book ‘The Fly Who Flew to Space,’ Sanchez addressed McNally’s comments, stating that his feelings towards her were irrelevant to her.
Despite the challenges, Sanchez remains focused on her relationship with Bezos and her personal well-being.
