Leclerc Confident Ferrari Can Challenge for Victory in Las Vegas Grand Prix

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc is optimistic about his team’s chances of winning the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix, a crucial race in their bid to close the gap on McLaren in the Constructors’ Championship. The Italian team is eager to secure their first F1 title since 2008, trailing McLaren by 36 points with just three races remaining in the season.

Leclerc’s confidence stems from the team’s recent progress in tire management, a crucial factor at the challenging Las Vegas circuit. While he acknowledges the track’s demanding nature and the need to optimize tire performance, Leclerc believes Ferrari’s improvements put them in a strong position.

“I think on paper it’s a track where we should perform well,” Leclerc said at the premiere of Gladiator II in London. “However, the fact we have improved a lot with tyre management, means on a track where it is so cold, it will be difficult to put the tyres in the right window. Trending “On paper, it still looks positive. Maybe not as positive as last year but seeing how close everything is, I believe we will have a shot to win it.”

Leclerc’s teammate, Carlos Sainz, shares his optimism, adding his excitement for the upcoming race, which follows the premiere of the highly anticipated Gladiator II film. Both drivers attended the premiere, decked out in custom-made tuxedos, and are eager to see how the sequel unfolds.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix, scheduled for November 22-24, will be a thrilling showdown for the final three races of the F1 season. With the championship battle heating up, fans can expect an intense and unpredictable race as the drivers fight for every point.
