Lemon Tree Hotels is expanding its presence in Mumbai with the announcement of a new hotel in Mira Road. Set to open in fiscal year 2026, the Lemon Tree Hotel in Mira Road will be managed by Carnation Hotels Pvt Ltd, a fully-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.
This new development marks a significant step for Lemon Tree Hotels as they aim to strengthen their position in the growing hospitality sector. The Mira Road property is strategically located, just 31 kilometers from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and 13 kilometers from Borivali Railway Station. This prime location ensures excellent road connectivity, making it easily accessible for both public and private transport.
The announcement of this new hotel comes as Lemon Tree Hotels continues to see positive growth in their stock performance. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Lemon Tree shares closed at Rs 131.19, marking a 1.4 percent increase in the previous session. The stock has experienced a year-to-date rise of approximately 10 percent, trailing slightly behind the Nifty’s 16 percent gain. Over the past year, Lemon Tree’s stock has grown by approximately 12 percent. While this increase is modest compared to the Nifty’s impressive 29 percent rise during the same period, it reflects the company’s continued growth and commitment to expansion.
The addition of the Mira Road hotel is a testament to Lemon Tree Hotels’ strategic vision for future growth. The company is actively seeking opportunities to expand its footprint and enhance its market presence, solidifying its position as a leading player in the Indian hospitality industry.
