Leonardo, the beloved Brazilian country music star, proved his commitment to both family and career with a truly remarkable journey. His wife, Poliana Rocha, shared the heartwarming story of how Leonardo rushed to be present for the birth of his grandson, José Leonardo, the son of Virginia Fonseca and Zé Felipe.
Poliana described the anxious anticipation as Virginia began experiencing contractions, prompting her to call Leonardo, who was eager to witness the arrival of his grandchild. “When we realized that Virginia was about to give birth to José Leonardo, and she started feeling the first contractions, I immediately thought of letting Leonardo know. He wanted to be there for the delivery,” she shared.
Despite being in Brasilia, Leonardo swiftly boarded a flight and arrived in Goiânia in time to witness the birth. “He was in Brasilia because he had left his plane in Brasilia, but he quickly got a flight and came straight to Goiânia. When he got here, he went directly to the maternity ward, where he watched the delivery and, for a few moments, could smell the scent of José Leonardo. Right after, he had to go back to the airport, took off from Goiânia and went to Patos. After landing, he still faced a 180 km drive to the concert venue. Now, he’s there, performing, after such an exciting and hectic day,” Poliana concluded.
This heartwarming story showcases Leonardo’s dedication to both his family and his career, demonstrating the power of love and commitment in a whirlwind of events.
