LG Business Solutions USA has unveiled its latest innovation, the next-generation LG CLOi ServeBot. This autonomous service robot, designed in a door-type format, aims to enhance delivery services in hospitality and healthcare environments. With a spacious four-door design and generous interior storage capacity, the new CLOi ServeBot (model LDLIM31) efficiently handles straightforward delivery tasks, alleviating pressure on busy staff.
“Our newest service robot brings a new level of functionality and flexibility to the hospitality and healthcare channels,” said Mike Kosla, senior vice president, LG Business Solutions USA. “Featuring advanced platform technologies that include AI, communications and control, the new CLOi ServeBot is going to help our hospitality and healthcare customers streamline their operations. The introduction of a door-type service robot reinforces our commitment to constantly innovate in ways that bring meaningful new benefits to our customers.”
LG Business Solutions USA debuted the new LG CLOi ServeBot at HITEC 2024, a pivotal hospitality technology trade show. This addition bolsters LG’s portfolio of advanced AI robots and control solutions, marking a strategic move to expand their B2B business, particularly in delivery and logistics services. The door-type CLOi ServeBot has garnered international acclaim for its innovative design, earning both the 2024 Red Dot Design Award and the 2024 iF Design Award.
Featuring four internal compartments capable of holding up to 30kg each, it efficiently manages multiple deliveries or collections. Its spacious and secure cargo area accommodates up to 32 standard-sized coffee cups, with adjustable shelving for varying load sizes. Designed for indoor hospitality and healthcare environments, the LG CLOi ServeBot utilizes elevators for multi-floor operations. Equipped with six wheels and independent suspension, it ensures stability while navigating uneven surfaces, minimizing spills during beverage transport.
User-friendly features include automatic door operation during use and sensor-equipped compartments that detect when deliveries are complete. Powered by an AI algorithm, it navigates obstacles, optimizes routes, and communicates with up to 20 other CLOi ServeBots to enhance efficiency and prevent collisions. The LG CLOi ServeBot boasts a 10.1-inch display for mobile advertising, managed via the LG CLOi Cloud Station or CMS mobile app. It also offers escort services, providing voice guidance for visually impaired users and real-time status monitoring via the LG CLOi Cloud Station, facilitating seamless operational management.
With extensive expertise in robotics, LG continues to innovate versatile solutions for airports, hotels, hospitals, and warehouses, aiming to streamline distribution processes from robot deployment to last-mile delivery.
