Liberty Boys Tennis Dominates EPC Season and Tournament

The Liberty Hurricanes have enjoyed a memorable season, sweeping the EPC regular season and tournament titles for the first time since 2019. Their success was evident in the tournament held at Freedom High School, where they claimed championships in five of the six brackets.

Leading the charge for Liberty was senior Luke Appleman, who triumphed in the No. 1 singles bracket. Senior Roman Farhad added another title with his victory in the No. 2 singles. In the doubles matches, the Hurricanes continued their winning streak.

Senior duo Leo Babbin and Elijah Quan claimed the championship in the No. 2 doubles position. Junior Connor Ohl and sophomore Finn Brown secured the title in the No. 3 doubles bracket, while seniors Caden Vermuelen and junior EJ Powers emerged victorious in the No. 4 doubles.

Nazareth’s senior Ishaan Patel also made his mark on the tournament by winning the No. 3 singles title.
