The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) has welcomed a prominent new member: Lion Air Indonesia. This strategic addition, effective immediately, signifies a significant expansion of AAPA’s reach within the budget air travel sector.
Based in Jakarta, Lion Air holds the distinction of being Indonesia’s largest privately owned airline and a leading budget carrier in Southeast Asia. Since its establishment in 1999, the airline has grown to offer a comprehensive network of domestic and international flights. Connecting Indonesian cities with destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, Lion Air’s route map includes Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, and many more.
