Lisa Vanderpump Calls Out Jax Taylor for ‘Scripted’ Claims About ‘Vanderpump Rules’
Lisa Vanderpump has slammed Jax Taylor’s recent allegations that ‘Vanderpump Rules’ is scripted. Taylor made the comments during a viewing party for the show and its spinoff, ‘The Valley,’ at his own bar in Studio City, California. He repeatedly criticized the show, calling it “scripted” and “fake.”
Vanderpump, who executive produces both shows, clapped back at Taylor’s claims, saying, “Nobody can write a script like Vanderpump Rules.” She also accused Taylor of possibly scripting his own comments.
Taylor later walked back his comments on his podcast with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, saying he regretted “going on a rant” about the show being scripted. He praised the show for being “the most authentic” reality series out there.
Vanderpump Addresses ‘VPR’ Cast Division Rumors
Vanderpump also addressed rumors that the ‘VPR’ cast is more divided than ever after the reunion. She said, “They can always come back from it.” However, she acknowledged that the series is at a pivot point going into a potential 12th year.
Vanderpump’s Other Projects
Vanderpump also discussed her other projects, including ‘Vanderpump Villa’ and ‘Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars.’ She said that ‘Vanderpump Villa’ is “very popular” and that she recently filmed the cast’s reunion. She also teased her upcoming competition with Gordon Ramsay on ‘Food Stars,’ saying, “I think I’m a worthy opponent for Gordon.”
Vanderpump’s New Restaurant in Lake Tahoe
Vanderpump also talked about her new restaurant in Lake Tahoe, Wolf by Vanderpump at Harveys. She said she wanted to create something that felt “organic to the area” and that the restaurant has a “masculine edge” compared to her other partnerships with Caesars.
