Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Phase 6 Begins Today with Key Rallies and Q4 Results

The sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 commenced today, May 25th, with 58 constituencies across eight states and union territories scheduled to go to the polls. Delhi, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Punjab are among the states participating in this phase. In Delhi, all seven Lok Sabha constituencies will vote today.

Several prominent political leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav, will address election rallies across the country. Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha and Himachal Pradesh, while Vadra and Yadav will hold a joint campaign in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will also participate in an election rally in Himachal Pradesh.

Meanwhile, the Met department has issued a heatwave alert for Delhi and other states, including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab. Temperatures are expected to rise significantly in the coming days, with an orange alert issued for Delhi from May 25th to 27th.
