Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Phase Two Polling Scheduled for April 26

The second phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections is scheduled for April 26, following the successful completion of the initial round on April 19. During the first phase, over 100 million citizens cast their votes across 102 constituencies, resulting in a voter turnout of nearly 64%. The estimated voter turnout stood at 63.89% until 9:00 pm during the initial polling phase.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to conduct election rallies in Rajasthan’s Tonk and Sawai Madhopur today. The phase-wise schedule for the Lok Sabha Election 2024 is as follows:

* Phase 1: April 19
* Phase 2: April 26
* Phase 3: May 6
* Phase 4: May 12
* Phase 5: May 19
* Phase 6: May 26
* Phase 7: June 2

The counting of votes and result declaration for the Lok Sabha election is set to take place on June 4.
