Two loose horses caused a stir in central London on Wednesday morning after they were spotted running wild near Aldwych. Pictures and videos of the animals, wearing saddles and bridles, quickly surfaced on social media. One particularly concerning image depicted a black 4×4 with blue lights trailing the horses. Authorities, including the police and the army, immediately launched a search operation to locate the animals.
The horses’ whereabouts remained unknown for several hours, leading to growing concern among the public. However, later in the day, they were successfully found in Limehouse, east London. The distance between their initial sighting at Buckingham Palace Road and their eventual discovery was approximately 6 miles.
One of the horses was observed to be covered in blood, prompting speculation about its condition. Police have not yet disclosed any details regarding the horse’s injuries or how it sustained them.
