Loose Household Cavalry Horses Rampage in Central London, Causing Chaos and Injuries

Loose Household Cavalry Horses Cause Mayhem in Central London

Escaped Household Cavalry horses wreaked havoc in central London on Monday morning, causing collisions with vehicles and injuries to pedestrians. The horses, believed to have been spooked during their daily exercise, ran loose through the streets, alarming locals and tourists alike.

One black horse was captured on video crashing into a black cab, while others were seen running amok on pavements. A witness described seeing a soldier fall to the ground after being struck by one of the horses, prompting screams from bystanders.

Buckingham Palace Road was closed following the incident, and a cordon remains in place around the injured soldier, who is being treated under a blue tarpaulin tent. Two horses have been contained near Limehouse, but one remains at large and has been spotted as far away as Shadwell, approximately 3.3 miles from where the horses initially escaped.

The Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service are working together to locate the missing horse and provide medical assistance to any victims. The incident has caused significant disruption to traffic in the area, and motorists are advised to avoid the affected roads.
