Beginning his journey at 7:05 p.m. on Sunday from Azhagarkoil, Lord Kallazhagar arrived at Moondrumavadi around 6:30 a.m. on Monday. As the procession proceeded, enthusiastic crowds gathered at various mandagapadis to perform ‘ethir sevai,’ a tradition where devotees offer prayers to the Lord at their doorstep rather than visiting the temple. Notably, hundreds of devotees assembled at K. Pudur, Reserve Line, Bharathi Ula Road, and Outpost around 6 p.m. to welcome the deity.
Around 8:30 p.m., the procession halted at Prasanna Venkatachalapathy Temple in Tallakulam. During this captivating festival, individuals from all walks of life come together as equals to perform rituals in honor of Lord Kallazhagar. Devotees from near and far flock to the temple, which remains open throughout the night for darshan of the Lord.
