Born in 1930, Louise grew up in Leominster, Massachusetts, and graduated from Walker High School. She embarked on a successful career, first at Pioneer Plastics and York Mutual Insurance, and later at Maine Medical Center, where she served in the pharmacy department and as a unit secretary until her retirement.
Louise’s true passion lay in her family. She raised her four children, Lawrence, Susan, Jean, and the late William, with unwavering love and dedication. She was the heart and soul of her family, hosting gatherings filled with laughter, love, and her signature deviled eggs. Her competitive spirit created a lively atmosphere, fostering a sense of camaraderie among her family and friends.
Louise was also an adventurous spirit. She loved to travel, exploring destinations near and far, from her beloved Scarborough Beach to the bustling streets of Paris. She embraced every adventure with infectious enthusiasm, collecting memories that enriched her life and inspired those around her. At 87, she embarked on a dream cruise down the Danube, demonstrating her indomitable spirit and thirst for life.
Louise’s faith was a guiding force in her life. She was a devout member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where she found strength and purpose in her spiritual beliefs. She sang in the choir and volunteered her time at local schools and organizations, sharing her faith and compassion with all who crossed her path.
Beyond her family and faith, Louise found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved playing games of Yahtzee, Skip-Bo, and dominoes, relishing in the camaraderie and friendly competition. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family, showering them with love and affection.
