Louise Thompson has been open about her health struggles, and her latest post is no exception. The former reality star shared a video of herself trying on different swimsuits after submerging herself in a pool for the first time since major surgery to have a stoma bag fitted. “This is the first time I’ve fully submerged myself in water in over 3 months,” Louise said in the video. “That’s actually crazy. I can’t believe I’m saying that. No swims. No baths. No nothing.” Louise was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2019, and she has since undergone several surgeries. In March of this year, she had her colon removed and a stoma bag fitted. “I have to say I’m pretty amazed by how incognito my stoma bag is in my cosi’s!” Louise captioned the video. “Might be a different story by the end of the day but for now this is SERVING. What are we thinking about the name Winnie? And more importantly have you got it? I think it’s priceless. Clue: [honey pot emoji], but open to suggestions. Was on our og baby name list, but this will do for now. L x.” Louise’s followers were quick to praise her for her honesty and bravery. “You’re an inspiration to us all,” one follower wrote. “You look beautiful!” another added. Louise’s story is a reminder that it’s possible to live a full and happy life even after major surgery. Her positive attitude and determination are an inspiration to us all.
