Love Island’s Faye Winter Sparks Concern After Revealing Self-Isolation Due to Skin Resurfacing Procedure

Love Island star Faye Winter has sparked concern among fans after admitting that she “hasn’t left the house for a week” due to a skin resurfacing procedure. The former estate agent, 28, took to her Instagram Stories makeup-free, wearing a fluffy dressing gown. Winter revealed that she has been self-isolating at home since undergoing AgeJET (plasma skin therapy treatment) for hyperpigmentation resulting from sun damage on her forehead. She explained that the procedure, which treats skin conditions ranging from fine lines and stretch marks to pigmentation, has left her skin dry and shedding. “My cabin fever is being released today,” Winter said in a video. “For over a week I’ve done nothing but walk my dogs and not wear makeup and not leave my house because I had AgeJET done for my hyperpigmentation from sun damage on my forehead. As you guys know I’ve been suffering for years. It’s taken longer than I thought to recover but I can’t believe I’m on here without a filter and without makeup talking to you guys.” Winter pointed to a spot on the right side of her forehead, admitting, “There is still a bit here, which I am probably going to have to get done again.”

The Love Island alumna has been open about her struggles with skin hyperpigmentation, which is primarily caused by sun damage. She candidly revealed her “real skin” last year after severe sun damage to her forehead during a trip to the Maldives. Winter has since become an advocate for health and sun protection, emphasizing the importance of wearing sunscreen to prevent similar skin issues. She has also shared her experiences with lip fillers, admitting that she regrets having them done in the past. Despite the challenges she has faced, Winter remains hopeful for positive results from the AgeJET procedure and encourages others to prioritize skin health and sun protection.
