Episode 6 of the hit drama Lovely Runner kept viewers on the edge of their seats as Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) found herself in a dangerous situation after coming face to face with the menacing taxi driver responsible for her past accident.
The episode begins with Im Sol breaking up with her boyfriend Kim Tae Sung (Song Geon Hee) after learning about his deception. She then runs into Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok), who has been harboring romantic feelings for her since they met. Despite Sol’s initial confusion, the two begin spending time together.
Meanwhile, Tae Sung confronts Sol about their breakup and gets into an accident while riding his bike.
Sol is informed of her mother’s hospitalization and rushes to be by her side. She expresses her gratitude to Tae Sung for letting her know and encourages him to change his destiny for the better.The next day, Sol rejects Sun Jae’s confession, believing that his feelings stem from her childish behavior. Dejected, she breaks down in tears. Later on, the day of Sol’s tragic accident arrives. Despite her fears, she decides to venture out after seeing Sun Jae heading to the park in the pouring rain.
As Sol runs to the park, she encounters the taxi that was involved in her past accident. She realizes the imminent danger and the episode ends with Sun Jae finding Sol’s yellow umbrella on the road after it starts raining heavily.
