In addition to the new Monterrey route, Lufthansa Cargo is also adding a stop in Dubai (DWC) on its existing B777F freighter service from Shanghai to Frankfurt, providing customers with additional connectivity options to the Middle East. Furthermore, the airline is expanding its belly capacity network with new connections to North America, including direct flights from Frankfurt to Minneapolis and Raleigh-Durham by Lufthansa Airlines, and direct flights from Vienna to Los Angeles and Boston by Austrian Airlines. Discover Airlines will also operate flights from Frankfurt to Anchorage and Halifax during the summer season, while Brussels Airlines will add connections from Brussels to Nairobi and Kigali.
Lufthansa Cargo’s parent company, Lufthansa Group, is also expanding its passenger flight network, which will provide additional belly capacity for cargo shipments. Lufthansa Airlines will operate new flights from Munich to Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver, while Austrian Airlines will fly from Vienna to Los Angeles and Boston. Brussels Airlines will add connections from Brussels to Nairobi and Kigali.
The expansion of Lufthansa Cargo’s freighter and belly capacity networks will provide customers with more options and flexibility for their air freight shipments. With up to 7,000 weekly flights worldwide by the Lufthansa Group, customers can benefit from a comprehensive and reliable global logistics network.
