LuminoCity Festival is delighted to announce the closure of submissions for the third annual “Lumi’s Utopia” children’s drawing competition, which saw a remarkable outpouring of creativity and imagination inspired by the theme “Sweet Dreams”. Young artists submitted their unique works through both online submissions and in-person workshops held at the Long Island Children’s Museum (LICM).
These workshops, skillfully guided by experienced instructors, provided young participants with a captivating introduction to the artistry and history of traditional lantern-making. The workshops, coupled with the online submission option, have resulted in a truly spectacular collection of artwork that vividly captures the whimsical and dreamy spirit of the theme.
