The Macao Grand Prix Museum, under the guidance of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), is continuing to enthrall visitors with its innovative approach to showcasing the region’s captivating motorsport culture. The museum is highlighting the legendary Guia Circuit, which weaves through the city’s streets, by offering the “Explore the Guia Circuit” Bus Tour. Initially offered for free last year, the tour’s immense popularity has led to its return for five special festive and holiday periods in the latter half of 2024.
Visitors can now embark on the complimentary “Explore the Guia Circuit” Bus Tour during five key periods from July through December 2024. These include weekends during the summer holiday months of July and August, specific dates during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Golden Week, as well as the Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao SAR and Christmas holiday.
Starting from July 6, the first two tours of this summer will commence at the Macao Grand Prix Museum. Participants are invited to register for these tours using their admission tickets at the museum’s service counter. Scheduled at 12:00 noon and 2:30 p.m. on designated days, the tours promise an engaging and informative 45-minute journey around the historic Guia Circuit. Guided by knowledgeable local experts, the tour will offer insightful details about the circuit’s unique features, enriching the experience for both local residents and tourists alike.
The Macao Grand Prix Museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the last admission at 5:30 p.m., except on Tuesdays when it is closed. This initiative underscores MGTO’s commitment to preserving and promoting Macao’s rich motorsport heritage, offering a memorable experience for all museum visitors.
