This region currently attracts a significant 3.3 million cruise tourists annually.

The event will feature a diverse lineup of industry experts, including Eduardo Cabrita of MSC Portugal and Fiona Noone of Marella Cruises, who will share their insights and perspectives on the sector’s future trajectory.
Beyond the insightful discussions and industry analysis, the conference will offer participants the opportunity to experience the island’s natural beauty and cultural attractions. Social activities include a visit to the Funchal Ecological Park and a FAM Trip to northern Madeira, providing participants with a deeper appreciation for the island’s unique charms.
The conference will culminate in a Welcome Cocktail on September 26th, honoring the founders of CAI and celebrating the enduring legacy of the Cruise Atlantic Islands Conference.
