Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Captivates at Arabian Travel Market Dubai 2024
The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) made a notable appearance at the recent Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai 2024, which took place from May 6 to 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This leading travel event offered MPTB an exceptional opportunity to present the varied tourist attractions of the state to an international crowd, particularly targeting the Middle Eastern market.
The event kicked off with an opening ceremony attended by dignitaries including Mr. Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India in Dubai, and Mr. Gyan Bhushan, Senior Economic Advisor at the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. MPTB’s booth showcased iconic destinations such as the majestic Kanha and Bandhavgarh tiger reserves, and the historic Khajuraho temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The exhibition also offered virtual tours of less frequented sites like the picturesque Pachmarhi waterfalls and the ancient Bhimbetka rock shelters, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, highlighting adventure and cultural festivities as well.
The MPTB team actively engaged with travel experts, tour operators, and media from the Middle East, exploring strategic alliances and collaborative ventures. This initiative aimed to position Madhya Pradesh as an attractive travel destination offering adventure, cultural experiences, and wildlife exploration. The ATM Dubai 2024 facilitated significant networking for MPTB stakeholders with Middle Eastern tour operators to design travel packages tailored to the preferences of Middle Eastern travelers, enhancing travel arrangements to provide a fluid visiting experience.
The successful participation of MPTB at ATM Dubai 2024 underscores the region’s commitment to welcoming Middle Eastern tourists. The event enabled the formation of essential partnerships and laid a solid foundation for ongoing cooperation, inviting Middle Eastern tourists to discover the lesser-known jewels of Madhya Pradesh and experience memorable adventures.
