Maharashtra Lok Sabha Elections: Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Neil Nitin Mukesh Urge Citizens to Vote

In the upcoming fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for May 20, 2024, Maharashtra stands poised to participate alongside eight other states and union territories. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has taken this opportunity to appeal to voters, urging them to exercise their right and fulfill their duty as Indian citizens. He emphasized the significance of each vote, encouraging people to seize the chance to make their voices heard. Salman Khan, another prominent Bollywood star, has also joined the chorus, stressing the importance of voting as a way to serve the country’s best interests. Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has added his voice to the call, reminding people that Monday, May 20, is not a holiday but rather a crucial voting day. He encouraged voters to cast their ballots, fulfilling their responsibility in shaping the nation’s future. The Lok Sabha elections are conducted in seven phases, with vote counting scheduled for June 4, 2024. In this fifth phase, thirteen constituencies within Maharashtra—including Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Palghar, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Thane, Mumbai North, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai North-East, Mumbai North-Central, Mumbai South-Central, and Mumbai South—will go to the polls. These constituencies will join others across Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh in exercising their democratic right.
