The Malayalam romantic comedy ‘Premalu’ has been receiving immense appreciation from viewers and critics alike. Its Telugu dubbed version, which premiered on the OTT platform Aha on April 12, 2024, has also been widely praised. According to a report by OTTplay, ‘Premalu’ has been trending in the first position of Aha’s top ten list for two consecutive weeks. This is a remarkable achievement, as it’s the first non-Telugu film to trend for such a long duration on the streaming service.
Directed by Girish A.D. and produced by Bhavana Studios, ‘Premalu’ follows the story of Sachin, a young man who navigates through life while juggling his ambition and romance. The film’s success has paved the way for a sequel, which is set to release in 2025. The Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil versions of ‘Premalu’ are available on Disney+ Hotstar.
