This marks a momentous occasion, as Malaysia Airlines returns to Paris after nearly ten years. To celebrate this special occasion, the airline has launched the “Time for Paris” campaign, inviting travelers to experience the magic of the City of Lights. Tickets will go on sale starting September 6, 2024, offering a special introductory round-trip fare of THB 25,500. The service will commence with four weekly flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 aboard the A350-900, starting March 22, 2025. Daily flights will commence on March 29, 2025.
Paris, renowned for its iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and Notre-Dame Cathedral, offers an unparalleled blend of gourmet dining, high fashion, and a vibrant cultural landscape. The city’s picturesque streets, historic architecture, and world-renowned art galleries provide a unique and memorable experience for every traveler.
Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, Group Managing Director of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), expressed his excitement about the expansion, stating, “Our expansion into Europe marks a significant milestone for Malaysia Airlines. With the arrival of additional widebody aircraft starting this Quarter 4, we are ready to bring this long-awaited city back into our network. While the European market is highly competitive, we see tremendous potential for this route to attract key travelers, not just from Malaysia but also from neighboring regions. By launching services to Paris, we reaffirm our position as the flagship airline and strengthen our role as the gateway to Asia and beyond. This route will be served by our state-of-the-art A350-900 aircraft, which already operates on key routes like London and Doha, delivering a world-class travel experience to our passengers.”
In a groundbreaking development, MAG is proud to announce a major route expansion alongside Malaysia Airlines and Google Gemini, who are revolutionizing travel with the debut of Gemini’s advanced AI technology at MAG’s Arena during the MATTA Fair. Google Gemini, known for its sophisticated natural language processing and predictive analytics, will showcase its potential in a physical setting in Malaysia for the first time.
