Malaysia Airlines Hosts Largest Trade Event, Bolstering Tourism Goals

Malaysia Airlines recently hosted the largest airline trade event ever held in Malaysia, the inaugural Malaysia Airlines Trade Elevation Summit 2024, in partnership with Tourism Malaysia (TM) and the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB). The summit brought together 300 delegates, including over 200 international attendees from 48 cities and 21 countries, marking a significant achievement for Malaysia Airlines in advancing the objectives of Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VMY2026).

The event solidified Malaysia’s position as a key ASEAN tourism and aviation hub, attracting key decision-makers from prominent global trade companies. These participants actively engaged in fostering international collaboration, strategizing future initiatives, and strengthening partnerships essential for enhancing Malaysia’s global tourism standing. The summit underscored Malaysia Airlines’ commitment to utilizing its position as the national carrier to bolster national tourism goals.
