Former Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has urged his former club to make an £80 million bid for two players from Crystal Palace. In light of the team’s dismal performance under Erik ten Hag, Yorke believes that Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, both of whom he regards as possessing exceptional potential, should be added to the attacking lineup.
Eze, 25, and Olise, 22, have been turning heads at Crystal Palace this season with their impressive play. They have combined for 15 goals and nine assists. Last summer, Olise was linked to Chelsea, but he stayed with the Eagles and signed a long-term contract that reportedly includes a £70 million release clause. Eze also recently extended his contract, scoring the game-winning goal in a rare away victory over Liverpool in the Premier League.
Yorke believes that these two players would be ideal for United, stating that they would bring youth, talent, and a significant upgrade to the attacking unit. He emphasized the importance of securing their services, suggesting that a substantial offer in the range of £80 million should be considered. United, who are currently ranked seventh in the Premier League and in need of reinforcement, would benefit greatly from the acquisition of Eze and Olise, according to Yorke.
