Manu Bhaker’s Father Dismisses Marriage Rumors with Neeraj Chopra

Rumors of a potential marriage between India’s star shooter Manu Bhaker and javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra have been swiftly dismissed by both families. Manu’s father, Ram Kishan, stated that his daughter is still very young and not even considering marriage at this time. The speculation arose after videos of the two athletes together at an event following the Paris Olympics 2024 surfaced online.

While acknowledging the close bond between the two athletes, Ram Kishan emphasized that Neeraj is like a son to Manu’s mother. Neeraj Chopra’s uncle also dismissed the rumors, stating that any news of Neeraj’s marriage would be publicly announced.

Manu Bhaker, at 22 years old, made history as the first Indian athlete in the post-independence era to win two Olympic medals in a single Games. She secured bronze medals in the women’s 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team event, narrowly missing a third bronze in the 25m pistol. Her focus remains on improving her performance in future competitions.

Neeraj Chopra, meanwhile, has become one of India’s most celebrated athletes, claiming a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw at the Paris Olympics. Both athletes continue to inspire generations with their dedication and achievements on the international stage.
