Miss World 2017 and actress Manushi Chhillar embarked on a dietary transformation for her role in the upcoming film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.’ Despite being a lifelong vegetarian, Manushi revealed that she began consuming meat to meet the demands of her character. This decision was prompted by her doctor father’s advice and the limited vegetarian options available during the film’s production in Scotland.
Manushi expressed her apprehension about eating non-vegetarian food, stating that she had always believed she would never do so. However, her commitment to the role and the need to maintain her weight for the physically demanding action sequences led her to make the switch.
The actress further revealed that her father played a crucial role in her dietary transition. He carefully monitored her diet and ensured that her meals were tailored to meet her nutritional needs. Despite Manushi’s initial reluctance, she gradually became accustomed to the taste of meat and was able to fulfill the requirements of her performance.
Meanwhile, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ has faced scrutiny from trade experts who have identified several factors contributing to its lackluster performance. Taran Adarsh, a noted film critic, highlighted the film’s superficiality, lack of substantial content, and excessive focus on the India-Pakistan conflict as key reasons for its failure to connect with audiences.
