Marcus Thuram Trolls AC Milan After Inter Milan’s Serie A Victory

Frenchman Marcus Thuram celebrated Inter Milan’s 2-1 victory over AC Milan on Monday evening by draping an Inter Milan shirt over a Rossoneri corner flag. The victory secured Inter’s 27th Serie A title, and Thuram’s goal in the second half clinched the win.

After the match, Thuram was interviewed by CBS Sports, where he thanked Thierry Henry for his support and guidance. ‘Today I’d like to thank my parents. I’d like to thank Thierry Henry, for all the advice he gave me and I hope this is only the start,’ Thuram said.

When asked if he speaks to Henry more than his father, Thuram replied: ‘Yeah he’s like my best uncle. He’s the uncle that is here for me to help me in good moments and bad moments. He always tells me the truth. And today I’d like to take the time to thank him because if I’m here it’s because of him too.’

The victory means Inter are now uncatchable at the top of the table, having gone 17 points clear of Milan, who are second, with five games left to play. It was a dramatic end to the game, with three players being sent off in injury time. But that didn’t stop Inter’s players from celebrating their hard-fought victory.
