Marks and Spencer (M&S) is embarking on a major transformation of its store portfolio, investing £30 million to enhance the shopping experience for its customers in London and beyond. As part of its ‘store rotation programme’, M&S plans to open two brand-new branches and renovate 12 existing stores in London, resulting in the creation of approximately 100 new jobs. The refurbished stores will boast upgraded amenities such as expanded in-store bakeries, dedicated flower and wine shops, and convenient click-and-collect services. To cater to the evolving needs of its customers, M&S will unveil new market-style food halls in Sidcup and Friern Barnet, offering a delectable selection of fresh and prepared foods. The expansion doesn’t stop at London; M&S will also open four new full-line stores and nine food halls across the United Kingdom, expanding its presence and bringing its exceptional products and services to new communities.
