Marriott International has achieved a remarkable feat by unveiling its 9,000th hotel, The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort, marking a significant milestone for the hospitality giant. Nestled on a sprawling 18-acre beachfront property in Longboat Key, Florida, this exquisite resort embodies the epitome of luxury and sophistication.

The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort boasts an impressive array of amenities, including 168 lavish guestrooms, including 26 suites, each offering breathtaking ocean views. Guests can indulge in exquisite dining experiences, enjoy top-tier facilities, and bask in the unparalleled service that defines the St. Regis brand. The property also comprises 69 upscale branded residences, providing an exceptional luxury living experience along Florida’s Suncoast.

The resort’s development represents a collaborative effort between Marriott International, Unicorp National Developments, and renowned design firms such as SB Architects, Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA Miami), and Dutch East Design. The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort heralds a new era for the brand’s resort collection and represents the most significant new development on the island in over half a century.

This opening further solidifies Marriott International’s dominance in the luxury sector, showcasing its extensive collection of seven luxury brands across 522 hotels and resorts in 72 countries and territories, and a robust development pipeline featuring 233 upcoming projects in 57 countries and territories.

The launch of The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort also strengthens Marriott’s leadership in the branded residences market. The resort’s 69 private residences, which sold out in under a year, feature expansive outdoor terraces, private elevator access, and more. Marriott International now manages 139 branded residential properties in 32 countries and territories, with 122 additional projects underway in 38 countries and territories.
