Mass Fleet Advisor Program Expands to Assist More Fleets in Transitioning to Zero-Emission Trucks

The Mass Fleet Advisor program, a collaboration between CALSTART, the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, and several other organizations, has expanded to provide free technical assistance to even more commercial fleets transitioning to zero-emission trucks. The program guides fleets through the process of gathering data on their vehicles, receiving energy modeling and vehicle recommendations, and preparing a personalized Fleet Electrification Report. This report includes electric vehicle and infrastructure overviews, total cost of ownership profiles, and short- and long-term electrification recommendations. The program does not require the purchase of any electric vehicles. The expansion of the Mass Fleet Advisor program aims to address the challenges fleets face in transitioning to electrification, particularly for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, which produce a significant amount of carbon pollution and incur high fuel and maintenance costs. The program provides expert guidance and individualized roadmaps to support fleets in achieving their electrification goals, without the financial burden of capital investment. To participate in the program, interested fleets can sign up for a personal, virtual meeting at the provided link or contact the program directly with any questions. The Mass Fleet Advisor team is committed to assisting fleets in preparing and planning for a successful transition to zero-emission trucks.
