Mattamy Homes and QuadReal Property Group have unveiled the final designs for The Clove, the first phase of the Cloverdale Mall redevelopment, set to launch for sale this fall. This exciting project will transform the 32-acre site into a vibrant, sustainable, and innovative mixed-use urban neighborhood that honors the rich history of the surrounding community.
The Clove will be a stunning architectural landmark, featuring a 33-storey tower and an adjoining nine-storey mid-rise building, offering over 600 condominiums. Designed by Giannone Petricone Associates, the building’s architectural expression evokes a feeling of movement and connection to the outdoors, with cascading terraces overlooking the new Cloverdale development. The adjoining mid-rise building, situated along Dundas Street, adds an urban touch with a new privately-owned, publicly accessible space (POPS) and a lush courtyard.
This first phase is a significant step towards realizing the master-planned community envisioned for Cloverdale Mall. The project aims to deliver high-quality housing and long-term value to future residents and the community as a whole. The redevelopment plans are the result of extensive public consultations and community feedback, ensuring that the new neighborhood seamlessly integrates with the existing community.
Beyond residential units, the Cloverdale Mall redevelopment will encompass revitalized retail spaces, green spaces, and a new street network connecting community amenities and transportation. The newly reimagined retail space will continue to welcome tenants that have served the community for decades, spanning over 180,000 square feet. The project will also include two public parks and additional green spaces, creating a vibrant and sustainable living environment for residents.
The Clove offers a range of residences, from studio to three-bedroom units, with prices starting in the $400’s. This development presents a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative project that will redefine the future of central Etobicoke. The Clove is expected to become a prominent landmark in the area, offering a blend of modern living, community engagement, and a connection to the natural world.
