Mattamy Homes, the largest privately owned homebuilder in North America, is expanding its footprint in the Tucson market with a significant land acquisition. The company recently purchased 13.4 acres within the sought-after Windmill Ridge at Mountain View Ranch community in Vail, Arizona. This strategic move marks Mattamy’s inaugural entrance into this master-planned community, signaling its confidence in the area’s growth potential.

The land purchase, which closed on September 18, 2024, for $1.14 million, will see the development of a new neighborhood featuring 50 single-story homes. These spacious residences will range in size from 2,278 to 3,056 square feet, situated on generous 3/4 to 1-acre lots. Recognizing the diverse needs of future residents, Mattamy has included options for four-car garages or RV garages in select floorplans.
