Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) has announced impressive August sales results, reporting a significant 57.4% increase in vehicle sales compared to the same month in 2023. This strong performance marks the best August for Mazda Canada in 17 years. The company’s year-to-date (YTD) sales also reflect a positive trend, showing a 26.6% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The standout performers in August were Mazda’s SUV models, with the CX-5, CX-50, and CX-90 all experiencing record sales. The CX-5 saw a remarkable 96.7% increase, while the CX-50 and CX-90 registered impressive gains of 86.1% and 82.9%, respectively. The MX-5 also contributed to the overall success, closing out the summer with a 72.5% increase compared to August 2023. The CX-30 also performed well, demonstrating a 23.7% year-over-year (YOY) increase in sales.
