However, the regulations regarding face masks in football might prevent him from wearing the France-themed mask during the game. The rules require players to wear plain, mono-coloured masks, typically black, to avoid violating the code of conduct and risking a yellow card.
While Mbappe could potentially wear the French mask if UEFA makes an exception, he might have to stick to a plain mask for the match. His participation in the starting lineup, or even the game itself, remains uncertain due to the injury and potential mask restrictions.
