Mckenna Grace, the rising star known for her performances in ‘I, Tonya’ and ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ will take the lead role in the upcoming film ‘Everything I Never Did.’
This young adult-oriented picture, penned by screenwriters D.J. McPherson and Scott Taylor, will be helmed by Australian director Jeremy Sims (‘Last Cab to Darwin’). Production will be overseen by Spencer McLaren (‘La Brea,’ ‘Dive Club’) of Aspect Entertainment, alongside McPherson and Jack Christian under their newly established banner, Filmology Features.
‘Everything I Never Did’ is described as a poignant love story that defies conventions and captivates with its originality, spontaneity, and unexpected twists. It follows Liam Black, a troubled teen, and Jenna Reid (Grace), a young woman facing a serious illness, as they embark on a transformative journey of embracing life and love in the face of adversity.
‘We are thrilled to finally unveil ‘Everything I Never Did,’ a project that holds a special place in our hearts,’ said McPherson. ‘Mckenna Grace’s exceptional ability to connect with multifaceted characters will bring depth and emotion to this poignant narrative. We can’t wait to witness her portrayal of Jenna on the big screen.’
Further casting announcements and details regarding distribution and international sales are yet to be revealed. Despite Grace’s busy schedule, production for ‘Everything I Never Did’ is anticipated to commence in late 2024.
