Medical Emergency at Westfield River Wildwater Races
On Saturday, April 20th, at approximately 1 p.m., a medical emergency occurred at the 69th annual Westfield River Wildwater Races. Race participants witnessed a male individual pass out and become unresponsive. They immediately initiated CPR.
Detail officers at the location, along with State Police troopers assigned to the race, arrived moments later to assist. The individual was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital for further treatment. His condition is currently unknown.
