Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting Held in Delhi Schools: Minister Encourages Participation

A grand Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) took place across all Delhi government and MCD schools on Saturday, as announced by an official statement. Delhi Education Minister Atishi personally visited several schools in East of Kailash and Kalkaji, taking the opportunity to interact with parents and students. During her visit, Minister Atishi encouraged parents to actively participate in the Mega PTM, emphasizing its crucial role in fostering discussions aimed at enhancing children’s learning and academic performance.

She stressed the vital partnership between parents and teachers in shaping a child’s future. “The Mega PTM brings parents and teachers together, allowing them to create better strategies for the future of children. It’s a shared responsibility, and our children will thrive only when teachers and parents work hand-in-hand to prioritize their education,” she stated.

Minister Atishi urged parents to invest at least half an hour of their time with their children, focusing on understanding their challenges and providing support. She highlighted the remarkable achievements of schools under the Kejriwal government, attributing their rise to the top schools in the nation to the collaborative efforts of parents and teachers.

Looking towards the future, she expressed her vision for Municipal Corporation Department schools to reach world-class standards. The Mega PTM initiative, she explained, is a direct outcome of CM Arvind Kejriwal’s vision, aimed at strengthening the bond between parents and teachers. She believes this initiative will play a pivotal role in driving an education revolution within MCD schools.

According to official data, Delhi boasts over 1,200 government and government-aided schools, along with over 1,500 MCD schools.
