Megadeth Announces Summer Tour with Albany Stop

Megadeth, the legendary thrash metal band, has announced their summer tour dates and will be making a stop in Upstate New York at the MVP Arena in Albany on Tuesday, September 10th. Tickets for the general public go on sale this Friday on Ticketmaster. The North American leg of the “Destroy All Enemies” tour has 33 dates and will kick off on August 2nd in Rogers, Arkansas, and wraps up on September 28th in Nashville, Tennessee. Megadeth will be joined on the tour by Mudvayne and All That Remains. Megadeth has been around for over 40 years, and although vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine is the only consistent member, the band has had several successful albums throughout their career, including “So Far, So Good … So What!” (1988), “Rust in Peace” (1990), and “Countdown to Extinction” (1992). Their most recent album, “The Sick, the Dying … and the Dead,” was released in 2022. Megadeth is considered one of the “big four” American thrash metal bands, along with Metallica, Anthrax, and Slayer.
