Megan Thee Stallion Cameraman Sues After Alleged Sexual Harassment and Wrongful Termination

Los Angeles:

A former cameraman for Megan Thee Stallion has filed a lawsuit against the hip-hop star, alleging sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Emilio Garcia, the plaintiff, claims that during a night out in Ibiza, Spain, in June 2022, he was forced to witness Megan engaging in sexual activity with another woman in an SUV. Garcia contends that he was unable to leave the moving vehicle and would have been stranded in a foreign country if he had attempted to do so. He alleges that the incident caused him significant emotional distress and that Megan subsequently berated and fat-shamed him, telling him to never discuss what he had seen.

Garcia further claims that he was subjected to a hostile work environment characterized by ongoing harassment and discrimination. He alleges that Megan’s possessiveness and abusiveness made his working conditions intolerable. Despite complaining about his treatment, Garcia was fired the following day after four years of employment. Garcia has filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department alleging job discrimination.

Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney has dismissed the lawsuit as an attempt to extort money. He stated that no sexual harassment claim has been filed and that the allegations are salacious attempts to embarrass Megan. The lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial, and Garcia is seeking unspecified financial damages for emotional and physical suffering, as well as lost wages.

Megan Thee Stallion, 29, is one of hip-hop’s biggest stars, having won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2021. She has had numerous hit songs and has collaborated with other prominent artists. The allegations against her have garnered significant media attention and will likely impact her career and reputation.
