Photographer Emilio Garcia filed a lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion, her companies, and her label, Roc Nation, alleging sexual harassment, wrongful firing, and other employment law violations. Garcia, who worked for Megan for four years, claims that in 2022, while traveling with the rapper in Ibiza, Spain, he was forced to witness her engage in sexual activity in an SUV. He alleges that he was unable to leave the vehicle and was left feeling embarrassed and mortified. The next day, Garcia says Megan instructed him not to speak about the incident and subjected him to verbal abuse and fat-shaming. Garcia also claims that he was misclassified as an independent contractor but treated as an exclusive employee, and that he was overworked, underpaid, and subjected to a hostile work environment. After raising his concerns with Megan, Garcia was fired the following day. He has since filed a job discrimination complaint with the California Civil Rights Department. Megan’s attorney has stated that she will contest the lawsuit, calling it an attempt to embarrass her with salacious accusations. The case is still ongoing, and a defense response is yet to be filed.
