According to royal expert Tom Quinn, Meghan Markle is unlikely to reconcile with Kate Middleton anytime soon, even though the Princess has been diagnosed with cancer. Quinn claims that the relationship between the two women has become too poisonous and that Meghan does not want to be seen as trying to take advantage of Kate’s illness.
“Meghan still feels Kate was in the wrong and should apologize before they try to build bridges,” Quinn said in an interview with The Mirror. “She can see no way to patch up the relationship simply because it has become so poisonous.”
Kate Middleton was recently diagnosed with preventative chemotherapy for her cancer, but Quinn believes that this will not change Meghan’s stance. “Kate’s cancer diagnosis has been a real shock for Meghan,” he said. “But she is not going to use this as an opportunity to try to make up with her.”
