Meghan Markle’s highly anticipated podcast relaunch has hit a roadblock and is now set for 2025, according to multiple reports.
Earlier this year, the Duchess of Sussex announced her partnership with the podcast network Lemonada, which released the first season of Archetypes. Now, the relaunch of the show has been pushed back due to concerns over scheduling conflicts with Markle’s upcoming lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, and her new Netflix project.
Sources reveal that Lemonada is wary of any overlaps between the podcast launch and other significant events. However, Markle is said to be actively working on the new podcast and has lined up a list of prominent guests for interviews.
Markle’s initial partnership with Lemonada was met with enthusiasm, as she expressed her excitement to collaborate with a female-founded company and produce thought-provoking content. Lemonada’s CEO and co-founders spoke highly of Markle’s talents and shared their vision for a new series that aligns with her mission.
The original Archetypes podcast, which ran for 12 episodes in 2022, featured Markle engaging in candid conversations with notable figures such as Paris Hilton, Serena Williams, and Mariah Carey. The series delved into the history of stereotypes against women.
It’s important to note that the Mirror has reached out to representatives of Meghan Markle and Lemonada for comment, but responses are still pending.
